Register for 2024 Storm Season Preparation

WHEN: June 5, 2024 | 6:15-8:30 p.m.

WHERE: Palm Beach State College, 4200 S. Congress Avenue, Lake Worth Beach Campus

WHAT: The 2024 hurricane season is forecast to be one of the most active on record with as many as 30 named storms possible.

To help people prepare for the season and ask questions of the experts, The Palm Beach Post is presenting a community forum open to the public with guest speakers including:

  • Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie
  • FOX Weather hurricane expert Bryan Norcross
  • Florida Power & Light Executive Director of Emergency Preparedness, Jamie Molnar
  • Palm Beach County Emergency Management Director Mary Blakeney, 
  • Lake Worth Drainage District Executive Director Tommy Strowd
