The Daytona Beach News-Journal will host the 20 Year Anniversary Most Influential Women in Business Awards presented by Brown & Brown Insurance on October 28th at the Marriot Renaissance in Daytona Beach.  The Daytona Beach News-Journal launched this program in late 2005, as a special publication in the Volusia/Flagler Business Report.  In May of 2006, The Business Report published its first "Influential Women in Business" edition this year marks the 20th year of the Most Influential Women In Business program.  Each year the community nominates area women who are doing extraordinary things both professionally and personally.  Forty honorees will be selected from the nominations received. Last year's top award winners will review & assist with the selection of the 2025 top award winners.   

To date, over 500 women have received recognition as the area's "Most Influential Women in Business."  Honorees over the years have ranged from small business owners to executives of major corporations, nonprofit executives, local government leaders, and chambers and trade association leaders. This year (30+) influential women from Volusia & Flagler County will be honored and seven will receive a top award in the below categories: 
 

Civic Leader Award, Most Charitable, Private Sector, Public Sector, Small Business, Rising Star & The Most Influential Woman of the Year!
