Register for Polk County Attorney Debate

The Des Moines Register and the Drake University Law School will host a debate of candidates for Polk County attorney on May 24 at Parents Hall in Drake's Olmsted Center, two weeks before the June 7 primary election.
Three Democrats are seeking the nomination in the primary: Kimberly Graham, Kevin McCarthy and Laura Roan. The winner will face Republican Allan Richards in the Nov. 8 general election.
The event will open with Richards taking questions on his own. Then the three Democrats will take the stage for their debate.
