Event Details

Imagine being able to sit in a room with three people in Oklahoma City who are reshaping downtown through industrial development, housing, biosciences, entertainment and sports.

Join us Tuesday, January 21st when The Oklahoman hosts its first OKC Central in Depth.  Veteran reporter Steve Lackmeyer will host a panel discussion with Richard Tanenbaum, Mark Beffort and Christian Kanady, who collectively and individually are key to more than $1 billion in development and deals throughout Oklahoma City.

Light hors d'oeuvres and complimentary beverages, including beer & wine, will be at 5:30PM.  The discussion with the panel begins at 6:30PM.

Tanenbaum, CEO of Gardner Tanenbaum, has developed more than $500 million in residential and industrial properties.

Beffort is a veteran real estate broker and developer who leads an ownership team that owns several landmark office towers downtown and plays an integral role in developing the mixed-use West Village in west downtown. He has teamed up with Tanenbaum to develop OKC 577, a $1 billion industrial park being built in south Oklahoma City.

Beffort has also teamed up with Tanenbaum and Kanady in creating Convergence, a bio-tech development east of downtown. The $195 million high tech development includes an office tower, lab space, restaurants, bars, shops and a 107-room hotel at the gateway to the city's Innovation District.

Kanady is an investor in Convergence and his pharmaceutical start-up, Wheeler Bio, is set to be an anchor tenant. Kanady is also the chief investor in Prairie Surf Studios and is teaming up with Beffort and NBA star Russell Westbrook in plans to build a mixed-use development around the future MAPS 4 multi-use stadium south of Bricktown.

Join us Tuesday, January 21st to hear how these individuals are helping reshape downtown Oklahoma City.
